Buongiorno, Il mio nome � Jes�s! As you may know, my user name is TwentyFiveCents. I am an Article Writer for this AC Gazette! I enjoy reading, writing, art, music, sports (mainly tennis); okay, I'm a well rounded person! I have many interests but mostly tennis, writing, and computer programming. I am a determined Roman Catholic. I plan to major in Computer Programming. I love Animal Crossing for the GCN the most! I am seventeen years old, turning eighteen soon, live in Venice, Italy. Hi my name is Travis! But you can call me TJ or Tom_Nook08. I am in the
progress of getting my G.E.D. I live in the Good Ol' South and I make a
living selling things on Ebay. I have AC:GC and AC:WW and I will be
getting AC:CF soon. I work for the Heavenly Hybrids Flower Shop as a
Birthday Greeter. I am also the owner of this Gazette. Thanks for

Behind The Scenes : "Series 1"

Behind the Scenes with Pelly and Pete;

It
was a late night at Brewster's. I had a sip'a coffee, and Brewster was
cleaning his cupboard. Then, I realize that I never sent Mitzi a letter
in'a while. I leave the caf� and say good bye to Brewster, and I left
as quick as Indiana Jones' whip.

As I leave I walk
up a hill, tired, over to the Post Office. I meet Mitzi on the way. I
make small talk and try to get to the Post Office as quick as possible;
I didn't want her to know of my letter. I look in the window to see if
anyone's there. Pelly and Pete! Oh my stars, I wish I was a journalist.
I peep in the window and watch them rumble.

The
conversation started when Pelly asked, "Pete, will you marry me?" I was
shocked. I jumped back with a thud, loud enough and they heard. "What
was that?" questioned Pete. It was time to run. I bolted out of there
as quick as Jackie Chan's punch and no one saw me. Luckily.

I
went back to Brewster's to report the situation. Brewser was as shocked
as I was. He nodded and wanted to see. I dragged him out. This time it
would be tough to run. Brewster is as slow as Tortimer. Then, Mitzi
wondered what we were doing. I told her to be quiet, but Brewster
insisted on her coming. I complained and let her eventually after a
well-fitted argument.

We quickly slowed (oxymoron, i know) to the Post Office, and peeked more. Pete said "No, Pelly. I love. . ."

"Phyllis." I don't remember what happened after that. . .and I don't think I want to.

Animal Crossing City Folk Review

Animal
Crossing: City Folk is simply Animal Crossing: Wild World; but
including a mesh of both AC:GC and AC:WW. AC:CF is going to be on a
Wii, which extends the Animal Crossing series to three systems! You
still get to build lasting relationships with the Animal citizens and
sell things to the devious Tom Nook, but let's recap:

�� What
do we know about AC:CF already? There will be a new area, the city.
Harriet the Barber and (I believe) Brewster the Bartender will be
serving you coffee and cutting your hair in the city. It still features
the same scrolling landscape as AC:WW does. However, WiiSpeak will
permit a whole-room microphone so you can speak instead of annoyingly
typing with those little digits on your hand!

�� Animal
Crossing: City Folk will still please as the old games, but doesn't
seem like a remake. It just seems like emulating AC:WW to the Wii.
However, the Animal Crossing formula has been tried and true. Thusly,
AC:CF isn't bad; but isn't anything spectacular either.

ACC Review

Animal Crossing
Community (abbr. ACC) is an Animal Crossing site that has information
on the Animal Crossing series and also serves as a chat forum. Members
have access to the forum and can log their characters, town, and items
to preform online trades and give tips.

ACC
has a friendly community that is [generally] helpful. There are some
spammers but overall ACC has its wonderful community. However, the
staff members are divided up into scouts, moderators, and
administrators. They are all reliable and well chosen.

Excluding
its community, ACC is a reliable Animal Crossing source. It has
information on all of the games' characters and buildings, along with
events. ACC includes Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: Wild World.
It also plans to include the newer Wii game that I evaluated in my
[previous] article, Animal Crossing: City Folk.

It
also have a variety of off-topic boards for topics not related to
Animal Crossing. However, it also has a violation system. In my
opinion, I find this violation system flawed. It strictly limits it to
a near childhood site, some even find it difficult to state their
opinion without being violated. However, it doesn't work in flooding
out spammers.

Still, excluding the violations, ACC
is a great site for all Animal Crossing addicts and casual gamers
alike. Even grown-ups are accepted in their own forum, (however,
younger kids tend to go to the Grown-Up Gamers forum anyway) mostly
populated with more adult topics for kids above the age of eighteen.

The biggest cash crop in AC; Turnips.

TwentyFiveCents here! This article is a free topic. I have chosen to write about the biggest cash crop in AC; turnips.

Turnips are sold by the hog dubbed Joan on Sundays. You can buy turnips
in bundles of 10, 50, and 100. The prices of turnips change per turnip
every week.

Now, turnips act as a stock market. Your aim is to
sell the turnips by Saturday that week (you can't sell turnips Sunday.)
The problem is, turnips sell for varying prices each day. You want to
sell them for more than you bought them! For instance, you
buy a pack of ten turnips, 1 bell per turnip. Tom Nook is selling for 2
bells. Therefore, (2-1=1) you gain +1 bell for each turnip. Imagine how
much money you could get! If you don't sell them by Saturday, they
spoil and you waste money. Sometimes the prices spike and go to 700-800
bells per bundle! It is unknown whether the Turnip Stock Market will
exist in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Random Fact: Turnips are edible.

***AC:WW Only***

There is something called a Red Turnip in this game. It has nothing to do with the Stock Market, but does involve a lengthy trade sequence.

In AC:WW they add a new type of turnip to sell; the red turnip.

Do you like working with you Uncle Tom Nook? Sometimes, Uncle Nook can be very annoying about money *both cough*.

Why did you choose to work for your Uncle? We didn't want to, our mom made us, But we do get paid and Cool uniforms.

Do you like your new outfits? Yep!! We love them, 100% cotton, Go Cotton!!

How come you follow people around? We do it because Uncle Nook said people might steal things while we weren't looking.

Did anyone ever steal from Nookingtons? Not yet, but if someone does Tom Nook will have a problem.
